2021 Blood Rock 25K & 55K Trail Race
December 4th - Oak Mountain State Park, Pelham, Alabama near Birmingham
Both Races Start at the Cabins on Tranquility - 8:00 AM
The Blood Rock 25K and 55K trail race will likely be the hardest 25 or 50K you have ever run. The 25K will have well over 8,200 feet of elevation Change. The 55K will have over 18,400 ft. of change. However, the elevation gain is not what makes the race so hard. It is the terrain. Our little mountain at Oak Mountain State Park is only 700 feet tall and about 10 miles long but what it lacks in size it makes up for in brutally steep technical climbs and descents, treacherous trails and endless miles of rocks and roots. Then again, there are also some very gentle and very runnable trails. But not many! That's also why it is such a fun race.
Blood Rock Race Shirts are included with your Registration. Please note: You must sign up on or before November 22nd to be assured of receiving a race shirt. Hoodies are also available on Ultrasignup for an additional fee through 11/22.
